Teacher Naturalist Training

Join our staff of teacher naturalists and share in the fun and satisfaction of teaching at Honey Hollow. Training is available to adults interested in working with school children and who are interested in preserving our environment, enthusiastic, able to work with children of all ages and abilities, flexible, and willing to learn new lessons. Participants should be able to work during the week, walk reasonable distances over uneven ground while carrying moderate amounts of weight and be willing to be outdoors during all types of weather. This is a paid seasonal position. Upon completion of training participants are expected to work at least 30 hours over the next 12 months provided sufficient opportunities are available. Clearances are required. Meet at the visitor at 9:30am both days. Class runs 9:30 am – 12:30 pm each day.
