For Adults

Bird Walks and Trips

Bird Walks are held at 8:00 am the first and third Saturday of the month year round except August.  Occasional field trips are held and will be on our events calendar, sent to our email subscribers, and posted on social media.

Teacher Naturalist Training
Share your love of the environment with the future generation of naturalists! Each spring field trip season, we look for creative adults who are passionate about ecology and informal education, to serve as Teacher Naturalists to assist the BCAS staff in environmental education programs. A training course is provided to all potential naturalists. Contact Diane Smith, Director of Education at dianesmith@bcas.org for more information.

Traveling Ecology Programs
Our outreach programs aren’t just for kids! Schedule someone to present to your group/club! Topics can include, but are not limited to, attracting birds to your backyard, local wildlife, climate change, and the history of Honey Hollow.  The price for a one hour talk is $150.  Click here to schedule a speaker!

Nature Lover’s Book Club
The 4th Thursday of every month, like-minded individuals get together at the Doylestown Bookshop for an evening of discussion, collaboration and cookies! For discussion questions and upcoming readings, visit Nature Lover’s Book Club Blog.
