Outdoor Botanical Illustration Class with The Art of Ecology

July 24, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Join Marissa of The Art of Ecology for a workshop geared towards getting you outside, interacting and observing nature more closely!

We will learn more about the art and science of botanical illustration and how to better draw from natural settings. All drawing materials provided, however you may bring your own if you like! BYOB. Event will take place outside, so wear comfortable shoes and bring a mat or towel to sit on while drawing along the trails. In the case of rain, we will meet inside for the presentation portion and to discuss “how” to photograph plants for botanical illustration, then head out to quickly photograph the desired plant to draw from, then head back inside to complete our drawing.

Due to COVID19 and health concerns, participants are required to wear a mask when indoors and social distancing will take place. All materials will be sanitized and cleaned before your arrival. Space is limited due to this concern, so be sure to register early.

REGISTER HERE.

25% of all proceeds from this event are donated back to support Bucks Audubon’s high-quality environmental education programming.
