OUTREACH PROGRAMS

Not able to come to us? Let us come to you! Any of our field trip topics can be adapted for the classroom, or outdoor locations on your school grounds. With live animals, hands-on activities, observations and exploration, we will bring science to life for your students! For K-12 outreach programs, fill out the form on the right, or contact our staff and they will work with you to create the best program for you and your students.

We also offer a selection of Preschool Outreach programs for younger children! Our Environmental Educators will make learning about nature fun and accessible for your students with discovery and inquiry based activities! We have several topics to choose from listed below. We are also happy to work with preschools to design custom programs or series of programs as well.  For PreSchool outreach programs, fill out the form on the right, or contact our staff and they will work with you to create the best program for you and your students.

Getting to know our feathered friends! –  Stories and props are used to lead the students through the fascinating world of birds.

Going Buggy! – Posters, games and insect models introduce students to the fascinating world of insects, along with a meet-and-greet with one of our ambassador bugs!

All about owls! – Owl mounts, slides, sounds and props are used to demonstrate special adaptations and habitats of owls.

World of water! – Students learn about the water cycle and water uses through role-play and song. A watershed model gives children a hands-on look at what happens to water in their own neighborhoods.
