Great Backyard Birdcount

February 13 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Join Bucks Audubon for an afternoon of community science! This project is put on by the National Audubon Society and we are always thrilled to be able to host a count as well. Explore the property and learn all about some winter birds.

Masks required for in-person count. Register for this event HERE.

This year, due to COVID, Audubon PA has put together some extra Great Backyard Bird Count Virtual Features! Audubon PA is creating a new “GBBC 101” video for 2021 to help you recruit new participants to join the fun. We’re aiming to include photos from past GBBCs to showcase how easy it is to get involved. Send us your favorite photos of GBBC activities including watching birds, filling out checklists, consulting field guides, etc. Be sure to include appropriate credits for each photo.
Send photos to Kelly.McGinley@audubon.org by December 31st.

Audubon PA is also presenting a GBBC Live segment each morning of the GBBC. They will have a different host every half hour to help participants identify birds, sign up for eBird, fill out their checklist, or just chat with a fellow bird nerd!
