Advocacy for a Cleaner Earth Series

October 11, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Are you passionate about saving the environment and want to do something more to advocate for it? Learn about advocacy regarding different environmental topics such as sustainable agriculture from this month’s speaker – Ron Moule of Carversville Farm Foundation!

“Agriculture can be a major contributor to soil erosion, nutrient runoff, and environmental degradation around the planet but certain management systems, principles and practices can lead to regenerative outcomes. Many of these are rooted in mimicking nature and inspired by the work of indigenous cultures and the pre-industrial farmers of the early 20th century. We will discuss the legacy of the Honey Hollow Watershed, it’s role in the inception of the soil conservation movement and how our approach has evolved from conservation to regeneration.”

This program is free and open to the public! We hope to see you and a friend there!
