Citizen Science Committee

Bucks Audubon supports collaborations between professional and academic scientists and citizen volunteers on research programs that advance the environmental and conservation principles of the organization.

The Citizen Science Committee will work to facilitate programs in which citizen volunteers collect and share scientific data with scientists and members of the Bucks County community. The Citizen Science Committee will accomplish these goals by:

  1. Serving as an information resource about established citizen science projects
  2. Serving as an educational resource in support of citizen science projects
  3. Sponsoring citizen science projects that align with the goals of the Bucks Audubon and the greater Bucks County region.
