CANCELLED: Watershed 101

November 8, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join Audubon Society’s Field Organizer Emily Ferrin at Bucks Audubon (2877 Creamery Road, New Hope, PA 18938) for beer and pretzels while she explains the importance of our watersheds, and what we can do to protect them together

Emily Ferrin is the Field Organizer for the Delaware River Watershed with Audubon Pennsylvania and the National Audubon Society. A graduate of Eastern University where she studied cross-cultural economic and community development, Emily also worked in Costa Rica to develop practices in sustainable agriculture and ecology alongside rural families. When not at work, Emily enjoys time with family and friends, reading anything from Shakespeare to gardening manuals, and getting outside. Emily’s current projects include engaging Audubon chapters and their surrounding communities in watershed-related advocacy. She is also working toward the creation of a coalition for Delaware Watershed craft breweries, and involving members of the Lenni-Lenape nation more intimately in the watershed conservation conversation. Emily can be reached at eferrin@audubon.org.

This event is cancelled for 11/8, we will update with a new date and time for the next program.
