For Adults

Nurture Your Inner Naturalist
Reconnect with nature through this wonderful series, each event includes a presentation by a noted naturalist, as well as opportunities for hands-on and minds-on learning. Programs take place at the Life Science Building at Delaware Valley University. Check the calendar of events to see who is speaking next!

Bird Walks and Trips
Bird Walks are held every Saturday from September to June at 8am and birding field trips are held seasonally! Find upcoming events on the calendar.

Teacher Naturalist Training
Share your love of the environment with the future generation of naturalists! Before every field trip season (spring and fall), we look for creative adults who are passionate about ecology and informal education, to serve as Teacher Naturalists to assist the BCAS staff in environmental education programs. A training course is provided to all potential naturalists. Contact Diane Smith, Director of Education at dianesmith@bcas.org for more information.

Traveling Ecology Programs
Our outreach programs aren’t just for kids! Schedule someone to present to your group/club! Topics can include, but are not limited to, attracting birds to your backyard, local wildlife, climate change, and the history of Honey Hollow. Click here to schedule a speaker!
