Young children's enthusiasm about nature is nurtured through our hands-on programs designed especially for pre-schoolers. Programs are scheduled throughout the year for 3-5 year-olds and an adult friend.

Members $10, Non-members $12. Pre-registration and pre-payment required.

This series of nature programs is designed for a one to one child to parent ratio in order to provide a unique sharing and learning experience. Preschool children ages 3-5 are welcome when accompanied by an adult.

We'll play games to learn about animals.

Rockin' Rrptiles !
Come and meet the nature center's reptiles and learn about these scaly creatures.

April 1 & 2

Caterpillar to butterfly !
Come see how amazing caterpillars are! We'll setup our caterpillars in their own house. Stop by the Visitor's Center over the next month to watch them as they grow into butterflies.

April 15 & 16  

Fairy Houses!

We’ll build fairy homes in the forest from natural materials.

 

April 29 & 30

Hoppin’ Frogs!

Hop on over to Honey Hollow to find out about these amphibians. Meet at the bird seed shed parking lot at Tuckamony Farm.

 

May 13 & 14

Rotten Logs!

We’ll peek under logs and rocks to see who’s living there.

 

May 27 & 28 

Worms Eat My Garbage!

Let’s learn how worms help us to grow plants.
