Preschool Explorers introduces children ages 3-5 to basic science concepts and important school– readiness skills. Parental participation required!! Each class includes an outdoor activity, nature or science related craft, healthy snack and a story. Younger siblings welcome.
Class Times: Tuesday, 10:00-11:30am / Wednesday, 1:00-2:30pm
After School Adventurers is a drop-off program for children in first through third grade. Each class includes a science- related outdoor activity and a healthy snack. Some programs include a craft. If your youngster is in a different age category but would like to participate, call us to discuss.

March 15/16: First Wildflowers - Come hike the Honey Hollow trails with us and discover the wonders of the first of the season wildflower: The SKUNK CABBAGE!
March 29/30: Rotten Log - Join our search for the FBI (Fungus, Bugs, Insects) as the days grow warmer and longer and they emerge from their winter sleep.
April 12/13: FROGS!! We’ll hike to the marsh and check out our frog population as they begin the spring singing season
April 26/27: Creek Critters - Lets get out our stream nets and check out the creek critters
May 10/11: Animal Home Hunt - We’ll hike around Honey Hollow looking for animal homes, tracks and other signs of who lives here.
May 24/25: Pond Dwellers - Who’s lurking beneath the calm surface of the pond? We’ll use our nets to find out.
June 7/8: Insect Safari - We’ll catch, observe, identify and release the insects of the fields.
